Thurlaston Parish Council approached Studio DJ to design and build a new website after recognising that their existing site no longer met the needs of their community. The previous website was outdated in both design and functionality, was not optimised for mobile devices and lacked any form of backend data analytics, making it difficult to understand how residents were engaging with the site.
Our brief was to create a modern, accessible website that would be easy for residents to use across all devices while giving the Parish Council better insight into website performance. We designed and developed a fully responsive website, ensuring a consistent and user-friendly experience on desktop, tablet and mobile.
A key focus of the project was improving user experience. We reduced the overall number of pages, simplifying the site structure and reorganised the navigation menu to make key information easier to find. This streamlined approach helps visitors quickly access council news, documents and contact information without unnecessary complexity.
In addition, we implemented backend data analytics, allowing the Parish Council to monitor visitor behaviour, track page performance and make informed decisions about future content updates. The result is a clean, modern website that better serves the local community and provides the council with a future-proof digital platform.

“We've been working with Strada for years, and this project was the most comprehensive one we've ever done. It covered so many elements: brand design, video, copy, online, print. The team was fantastic, approaching every challenge with energy, enthusiasm and creativity.”
